What are your thoughts on decals....specifically--this one--say if I were to put this in my blue bedroom. Trendy? Tasteful? Tasteless? Ideas. I'd like your opinion.

One of the things I'm going to start doing is running. I've signed up for a

We used decals in Theo's room b/c I was way too lazy to paint a mural or otherwise decorate the walls in his nursery when I was pregnant. I like that they are easily changeable when he outgrows them. I've seen some at Ikea but also have found them online (where we got the decals in his room).
I think decals can be cheesy, but I love the ones pictures.
love the ones in this photo! do it!
I know, I think they can be cheesy in adult rooms (Stina's were AWESOME in her son's room), but somehow this particular one looks kind of classy and cool?
I think I'm gonna get em!
Yes, I was definitely speaking of adult rooms. A friend of mine has a decal of a silhouette of a tree in the nursery and it's absolutely adorable. It's made of chalkboard material so when the baby is old enough, she can draw on it. Although now that I'm thinking about it, that might not be such a good idea because then she'll probably think she can draw on any wall in the house.
Either way, don't let kids draw on your walls, Stella. Don't do it.
I love the wallpaper too! I'm excited to see your home!
I agree with most of the other commenters. Think that most decals (for adults) look kinda cheesy but love these!
I am not a paragon of interior design, but I have decals. There are six birds: two black, two dark gray, two light gray. They fly in an humpback arc from a silver clock set to midnight over the lava lamp to the closet in my office/creative-center. I'm pleased with them. Inspired to heights and whatnot...
