Something Matrimonial...

My sister is getting married in two months.
We have been planning the wedding for over a year.
People will be sitting on chairs,
though I tried to get us to go the "bale of hay" route.
Tiny cookies in perfect colors will be served.
I will be the Maid of Honor
and wearing a dress that fills the roll.
This photo made me want to marry a hippie.
My sister is NOT marrying a Hippie.
Small white cakes will be served.

This looks amazing!

My friend, Chelsea, has a blog that has lots of pretty things but focuses on weddings and she writes a DIY weddings column for project weeding that might have some good ideas if you need any more.

Beautiful! Hey, I just read your comment from MONTHS ago on my blog about my thoughts on administration...well, as you've probably seen via FB, I'm in the middle of a kind of sudden career change, but it's more to do with my current "season" of life than the fact that I didn't like principalship (¡al contrario! I actually really loved it) Let me know if you still want some thoughts!

I love the idea's in these pictures. At my brothers wedding last fall, they had bales of hay with old quilts laid on them for people to sit on. It was very cool. They had an old buggy guests arrived, someone took pictures of those they were there with, sitting in the buggy and then they made a photo guest book for the the bride and groom. I love when people add their personal touch to their wedding and make it about them instead of following what is traditional. I am sure you will make the best Maid of Honor ever! XX Happy Sunday! :)
