I don't know, but I insisted on keeping it on the entire time I was in labor (and normally I find her COMPLETELY insufferable!) Bizarre, huh?Tracey Axnickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07241222434446828594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1021441068012948210.post-9814310545863082242010-05-28T15:57:59.444-06:002010-05-28T15:57:59.444-06:00Once I saw an old episode of "Cooking with Ju...Once I saw an old episode of "Cooking with Julia Child". I don't know why I was watching it because I hate to cook. Anyway, Martha Stewart was the guest chef and was showing Julia how to make this superb meal with multiple steps, complete with centerpieces and party favors. At one point, Julia said, "This would take me weeks to make all of this." And while she said it, she had this totally obvious look on her face like she did not think it was worth it at all, that it was all ridiculous, in fact. It was priceless. I wish I had taped that episode.

I may be the only female on the planet who does not desire (even in a small way) the Martha Stewart beautiful life. I have no patience (or work ethic, probably) at all.

But more power to you, if you ever get the time/chance, I guess.Fletchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16845539934606213861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1021441068012948210.post-84863383745192586932010-05-28T09:22:51.092-06:002010-05-28T09:22:51.092-06:00I love you! Even if all my china and linen and furniture and everything was thrifted, I still threw a bang up party. Now I'm lucky if I toss chicken nuggets and frozen french fries in the oven. Seriously pitiful.

I still want to be like Martha Stewart. I used to say Brooklyn Martha, but I don't live in Brooklyn any more.Rowenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07146077261663557342noreply@blogger.com
